Jennifer Bolyn Architect-Eos Architecture

eos is the figure in Greek mythology that brings the dawn. The name is aspirational to the idea of creating building forms revealed in light. It is a classical reference to the perfect forms of Greek Architecture and an aspiration to artistry in architecture. eos architecture’s work is founded on the Vitruvian ideas of firmitas—utilitas—venustas (solidity—usefulness—beauty).

We specialize in high-end design that embodies these qualities through planning excellence, technical development, beauty in detailing and execution. We accomplish this by assembling an excellent team of designers, engineers and contractors. We establish a very open and transparent communication process with our clients to assure their values are revealed through the design process.

With over seventeen years of experience in the architectural field, Principal Architect Jennifer Bolyn excels in project management, detailing, and execution. She has acted as a technical code consultant on multiple project types—theater, restaurant, high density residential —and her firm has successfully built over forty buildings throughout San Diego County.

Jennifer graduated from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute with a dual bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Building Science. After the university, Jennifer pursued educational and personal development in Rome where she worked and studied for three years. Her focus was on the artistic and cultural values of the Renaissance. Additionally, she spent time in Paris and Berlin learning about the origins of modern art and the Bauhaus School of architecture.
